On August 5, at the opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Summer 8th Games in Gyumri, the Armenian Red Cross Society provided 30 volunteers and 5 employees of the first aid and rapid response teams, who, as needed, provided first aid, psychological first aid, tracing services for lost persons, and also provided drinking water at the booths in Vardanants Square and the city stadium. The service was carried out in close cooperation with the Ambulance, Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police, supporting their work as well. No serious accidents were registered.
