The winner pupils of the Drawing contest from Vayots Dzor region visited Yerevan

20 June, Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) within the framework of the “Climate Forum East” Project (CFE) has organized the visit of 53 pupils of Vayots Dzor region to State Museum of Nature of Armenia and Yerevan Zoo.

In December 2013, Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) within the framework of the “Climate Forum East” project, with the participation of 12 secondary shchools of Vayots Dzor has organizes a Drawing Contest. Overall, 1200 pupils have taken part in the event (100 pupil each from school).

As a result, 3 best drawings (totally of 36 pictures) from each school have been selected and authors of those works have received incentive prizes. Moreover, selected drawings have been included in 2014 Calendar published by ARCS within the framework of CFE Project.

Afterwards, Armenian Climate Forum has selected 3 best drawings, which were presented during CFE regional meeting in Georgia. During the meeting was decided to organized one-day trip/visit to Yerevan with authors of those drawings and their respective classes.

Kids were very excited and enjoyed their time in Yerevan.

Vayots Dzor regional municipality has assisted in organizing the event.
