Memorandum for Cooperation with the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center

Memorandum for Cooperation with the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center

On 31 January, Memorandum for Cooperation was signed  between the Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) and   Russian-Armenian Center for Humanitarian Response.

According to the Memorandum, the sides will cooperate to create an efficient system of human resource training in the field of population and community protection, will work on new educational projects, trainings, seminars, scientific researches and implementation.

 

“Our cooperation started two years ago, and has been very effective, and now we are ready to take this cooperation for a new level. It has been 100 years, that we have been operating in the country, and we have huge experience in the field of Disaster Management, First aid, and in preparedness and response to emergency situations in general”, in her welcome speech, Dr. Anna Yeghiazarjan, ARCS Secretary General mentioned.

 

Yuri Poleshchuk, Head of the Russian-Armenian Center for Humanitarian Response added, that it had been a great pleasure to cooperate with the Armenian Red Cross Society, and they are ready to deepen it further.

“Our organization has 30 years of experience, and we will be very glad to join our efforts to organize more effective response to the disasters and help the affected population by disasters and emergency situations”, he said.
