The IFRC Vice President, Georgian Red Cross Society President Mrs. Natia Loladze visited ARCS
On November 6-7, Dr. Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) President and Dr. Anna Yeghiazaryan, ARCS Secretary General, hosted the delegation led by Mrs. Natia Loladze, IFRC Vice President, Georgian Red Cross Society President
 
The purpose of Mrs. Loladze's visit was to get acquainted with the activities of the Armenian Red Cross Society, current programs and response to the humanitarian problems of displaced persons in 2023, to discuss future cooperation and development plans.
 
The current programs and the development plans of the ARCS were also discussed with other components of the Movement operating in Armenia and the region: the leaders and representatives of the ICRC delegation in Armenia, Austrian, Swiss and Italian Red Crosses.
 
The next day, Mrs. Loladze, accompanied by Mrs. Yeghiazaryan, visited Vayots Dzor region, where she got acquainted with the activities of the regional branch, participated in the distribution of humanitarian aid provided within the framework of the IFRC Disaster Response Fund and USAID support in Areni community, and on her return, she visited "Smile Club" of the Armenian Red Cross Society operating in one of the dormitiries in Yerevan.
 
The IFRC Vise President was impressed by the scope and quality of the activities and services of the ARCS. She highly appreciated the results achieved by the National Society during the last years in development sphere, which is evidenced by the enlarging circle of partners.
